Anyone who knows Rosemary Russell, President and Founder of Business Women’s Advisory Council™ (BWAC) knows one thing for certain: she is passionate about the growth and development of women in business. Through BWAC™, Rose provides business women the opportunity to meet with other business women in team formats to act as a center of influence and to help each other build and grow their productive and profitable businesses. By the same token BWACs ™ promotes an environment where these businesswomen can develop themselves professionally and address common business challenges and issues. Team members adhere to the three “C”s: Confidentiality, Commitment, and Contribution.
Members garner knowledge they need to grow their businesses through discussion, best practice sharing, lessons learned and trusting of fellow members. Teams are representative of various types of businesswomen, including corporate practitioners and entrepreneurs.
Rose spends much of her free time attending events and speeches in the Greater Philadelphia region where women are gathered as presenters and participants. Here she meets and learns first hand from women the challenges they face and their greatest needs as business owners. It is from these various interactions that BWAC™ was born and from which she continues to develop and support BWAC™ teams. Prior to launching BWAC™ Rose successfully launched the eWOmenNetwork – King of Prussia chapter as Managing Director. Prior to eWomen Rose spent close to 30 years in the Human Resources field in various executive level roles for organizations that included Lord & Taylor, David’s Bridal and the Midatlantic Employers’ Association.
